(Saturday- the Capital Santo Domingo) 

In the afternoon/evening: You will be greeted at the airport and brought to a lovely hotel in the Capital where we will have a buffet supper.

(Sunday- the Capital) 

You can sleep-in then have breakfast and enjoy the hotels’ facilities. After lunch we will then travel to Las Galeras. It’s a beautiful route (Travel time about 4 hours). Along the way we will stop off for a cappuccino . We will have supper at the hotel in Las Galeras or nearby. 

(Monday- Las Galeras)

We’ll have breakfast, then when we are ready, we will ride horses to explore different beaches. After lunch, you may wish to stay at a beach not far from the hotel or hangout at the pool or recreation room. Our hotel host, Segio, will guide us through a wine tasting event in his private cave!

We’ll have a very tasty dinner at the hotel.

(Tuesday- Las Galeras and El Valle)

After breakfast we will travel through the scenic countryside to El Valle.

At Melania’s Island we want everyone to have FUN!!!!

Melania’s Island is an adventure tour company, but we realize that everyone has different things they want to do on their vacation, so we offer different events at the same time so that everyone can have a great time in this beautiful island paradise!

For example:

On this day the group will do a combination of the following at no extra charge.

We begin with a great adventure on a Zipline….mountain to mountain….12 stations!  

Soaring through the sky like a bird….flying over a hotel of treehouses connected by suspension bridges….it’s an unforgettable experience!

When exiting the Zipline mountain, we will mount the horses that are waiting for us and enter the tropical forest. We will ride for about 45 minutes until the end of the horse trail. Then we will hike for about an hour to a beautiful hidden waterfall, where we can wade or swim in it’s refreshing waters!

We’ll have a snack, then hike back to the horses and will ride to a lovely beach in El Valle, where a buffet lunch will be waiting for us at an open-air seaside restaurant.

After spending some time at the beach we will travel back to the hotel for supper and a good nights sleep!

Some may wish to skip the Zipline adventure and enjoy the beach and then join the Zipline group to ride horses and hike to the waterfall.

Some may prefer to skip the Zipline and waterfall and hangout at the beach….no problem. No pressure! We want everyone to have a great time doing what THEY want to do!

(Wednesday- Las Galeras, Samana, Bacardi island) 

After breakfast we will journey to beautiful Samana bay and board a ship to view majestic whales leaping from the water!

Later in the day the ship will take us to one of the most outstandingly beautiful islands anywhere! The incredibly beautiful Bacardi island!

We will have lunch on the beach and enjoy this amazing place!

Don’t forget your bathing suit!

Afterward, we will travel back to the dock and return to the hotel in Las Galeras and have supper there.

(Thursday- Las Galeras, the Capital Santo Domingo) 

Today we can sleep-in, have breakfast, then head back to the Capital and stop for capuccinos on the way. We will have a buffet lunch at the hotel in the Capital, Santo Domingo. For supper we will eat at the hotel or a restaurant nearby.

You may wish to sleep in this day, perhaps enjoy the facilities at the hotel and then after lunch (or before depending on your flight), we will return to the airport with new friends and many fond memories!
